DNB Bank is part of Norway‘s largest financial services group that provides financial services to its customers in 19 countries world wide. DNB stands for long-term relationship that creates value to its customers, employees, shareholders and society.

Challenge

To implement a uniform banking platform in DNB by replacing its overall core-banking solution, its financial data warehouse, BI and front-end as well as a number of other solutions.

Solution

Infotrust has implemented more than 300 operational reports for DNB retail and corporate banking products and services. They include account, cash transactions, cards, credit products, deposits and payments on the retail side, and credit products, factoring, trade finance, markets and treasury on the corporate side, thereby handling a vast amount of DNB’s overall business.

The upgraded information system complies fully with the modern standards of functionality, security and reliability, and it will allow DNB to speed up all operating processes considerably, reduce the amount of technical work for the sales representatives, so as to allow them to devote more valuable time and attention to consulting and servicing the customers.

Result

The implemented architecture allows DNB to have reports showing real-time data at all times. At the same time, their employees can access their operational reports in the SAP BusinessObjects InfoView portal – a central and most intuitive web environment that allows end users to easily find the reports they need to perform their every-day tasks and functions.
